Laneige Water Sleeping Pack Ex

My second most favourite product on my shelf right now- Laneige's Water Sleeping Pack Ex

I don't remember how I chanced upon this product, but perhaps it was after getting a sample of this at a Laneige counter. I tried it for a few nights and fell in love!

I have sensitive skin and what I always thought was combination or acne prone skin. After using this product, I realize I may have been wrong to have used lots of harsh acne-preventive products to try to combat my problem!

What I think I have now is this: sensitive, oily- underneath, and dry on top, skin. What a mouthful!

What I have realized after using this product is, I wake up with skin that is smoother, brighter and the small pimples that I used to get all over my forehead that never seemed to leave me... have completely gone! I kid you not.

What this sleeping pack aims to do is provide intense hydration, vitality and a brightening effect during the hours you sleep, which is when skin cells are renewing themselves and working their hardest. :P

I use about a dollar sized dollop at the end of my routine. It is a lovely, light, gel- like texture that smells heavenly and spreads very easily.

My routine follows as such:

Remove make up
Cleanse with Cetaphil (another product I believe has helped my skin immensely!)
Layer a thin film of Vichy Norma Derm Night (I will review this soon- I love it!)
Spot treat pimples (if necessary) with Vichy Active Anti-Imperfection Concentrate
and then...

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack Ex.

It spreads easily and it may seem like a lot of product to use at first, but keep massaging it into your skin, in gentle strokes, including some on your neck, and even gently under your eyes, and it all absorbs in a few minutes.

Once dry it is smooth and not sticky or moist at all!

I used to think... so weird... sleeping with a mask on overnight? But it is ok because it completely dries.

When I wake up, my skin is slightly oilier and shinier, but this product does NOT make me break out at all. After washing my face with Cetaphil, my skin looks moist and plump and smooth! If I could see little spots threatening to break out the night before, after using this overnight, I swear those spots just disappear! It definitely soothes the skin, perhaps with that antioxidant effect from one of their ingredients, Hunza Apricot extracts.

We are meant to use it 1-2x a week but I have used it everyday and every other day some weeks, and there have been no side effects! It just runs out faster and you need to stock up again ;)

This is one awesome product I cannot live without! I really want to try their Firming Sleeping Pack next!

Retails for SGD 45.

Laneige White Plus Renew Original Essence and Water Sleeping Pack Ex

These are two of my absolute favourite skincare products recently. I've used both for close to a month and a half now, and LOVE them!

Both have done wonders for my skin. Will blog about them very soon!

MediHeal & Leaders Insolution Masks Review

I have used masks before, and had seen these particular ones pop up everywhere on Qoo10 so decided to give it a go. To be honest, I had no idea they were different brands, as they were sold by the same seller. Haha... As I found out, price, nor branding didn't matter with these....

I ordered a bunch to add to Christmas gift packages, but so far have tried Mediheal's NMF and Leaders Insolution Vita masks.

Mediheal's NMF, EGT, PDF and IPI are slightly more expensive than their other masks, maybe because of the more exclusive ingredients. There are a few more not pictured above like Collagen. Anyway, they were still ridiculously cheap.

I tried the NMF one because I was suffering from some massive dry skin flaking near my mouth, to the point that it was painful that day, and it contains Hyaluronic Acid which is known to majorly moisturize skin. Reviews will be made together with the Leaders one later below. :)

Apparently, Leaders Insolution  is owned by the Leaders Cosmetic Group in South Korea, who own and operate skin clinics all over the country. The team has researched and developed a line of skin care including these masks.
I tried the Vita Bright one the very day these masks arrived. I couldn't wait. I wasn't disappointed.

You know how most masks don't fit the face, the essence drips off down your neck and around your ears.... I hate that. And can say in confidence that neither masks give me those problems. The masks are a sturdy but thin material, soaked in a watery-gel like essence that sit flat on your face and hug every inch. It's really comfortable. I usually relax lying down with the mask on and the liquids drip off my face with other masks, but these two brands don't.

Reviews now! The LS Vita Bright one surprised me a lot. I left it on for about 20-30 minutes, did some work at the laptop and when took the mask off, my skin was visibly brighter and fairer! There was definitely no breaking out, and I dare say it actually helped clear my skin because my skin started looking much better the days that followed.

The Mediheal NMF one was equally good. The cracked, painful skin around my mouth and lips were instantly moisturized. I know it sounds crazy but it's true! After that, my skin felt comfortable and sooo sooo soft I couldn't stop touching my cheek! (PS: I am not paid to write this, so it's completely my honest opinion.)

I do believe both brands are just as good. Mediheal's tend to be a little cheaper than LS' but I think they are just as good quality in terms of the mask material and essences. If your skin is a little sensitive, just wash off the residue after using the mask.

I just ordered a bunch more to stock up... because the seller is having a massive sale now. These work so well I doubt I will use the other brands' ones again.

Paid between SGD 1.20-2.60 per mask. From here. Seller ships these out very quickly, both times I've purchased, she shipped them out the same or very next day. Shipping time is a little long (took between 1.5-2 weeks I think) but hey, shipping is free!

GO TRY THESE IF YOU HAVEN'T YET! :D
